About Mumtaz Welfare Organization
From a Vision to a Movement
Mumtaz Welfare Organization (MWO) was founded in 2017 and officially registered in 2018 as a non-governmental, non-political, and non-sectarian organization based in Larkana, Sindh, Pakistan.
The organization was born out of a deep concern for the unaffordable healthcare situation faced by millions in the region. With government hospitals overburdened and private care out of reach for most families, MWO was established to bridge this critical gap by providing completely free medical services.
What started as a small free urology clinic has grown into a comprehensive healthcare and community support movement, touching thousands of lives across rural Sindh.
Dr. Sajid Ali Abbasi
MBBS, FCPS — Consultant Urologist
Founder & President of Mumtaz Welfare Organization, Dr. Sajid Ali Abbasi witnessed firsthand how the high cost of healthcare left countless patients without treatment. Driven by compassion and medical duty, he established MWO to provide completely free urology services to the underprivileged communities of Sindh.
Under his leadership, MWO has inspired over 100 consultant doctors to volunteer their expertise, serving poor patients daily and bringing world-class medical care to those who need it most — at zero cost.
